This site has been created by Ian Milne, Owner of the Therapeutic Community Open Forum email discussion list and member of the Institute for the History and Work of Therapeutic Environments Committee and Dr. Craig Fees, RMSA, archivist for the Planned Environment Therapy Trust Archive and Study Centre and Hon. Director of the Institute for the History and Work of Therapeutic Environments, working together with Dennie Briggs.

Purpose?

to preserve and create public access to the personal and professional archives of signficant individuals in the history and practice of therapeutic environments;
to bring together, preserve, and extend access to additional information by and about them, and
to facilitate and encourage research and discussion into the history and nature of therapeutic communities and environments, in their company.

The Living Digital Archive is a joint project of the Planned Environment Therapy Trust Archive and Study Centre, the Therapeutic Community Open Forum, and the Institute for the History and Work of Therapeutic Environments

This is the first, pilot project.
